Our mission is to teach self-reliance and to fulfill basic humanitarian needs both locally and abroad.

Who We Are

After a humanitarian trip to Ecuador in March of 2014, Alena and Sharik Peck found they truly enjoyed humanitarian service in third world countries. On that trip, they were able to see how much one group of motivated individuals could do for a community.

They realized that most machinery donated eventually breaks and can’t be fixed, or expensive toys are sold. Alena and Sharik were motivated to help in ways that are lasting and sustainable.

What We’re Doing

School Supply Kit

Basic school supplies and necessities can be hard to come by in third world countries. For families the choice may be between school supplies or food. We can help eliminate that problem.

Hygiene Kit

Many people in third world countries don’t even have access to toothbrushes and toothpaste. WIth your help we can provide these items for those in need.

Women’s Hygiene Kit

We’re working to supply reusable sanitary kits to women and girls and educate them about what their monthly cycle is and how to deal with it.

What We’ve Done

We take research learned in the United States about first aid, home health, sanitation, and other similar subjects and then teach those in other countries. We help those we visit use local resources to improve their situations. Some examples include:

  • Making water filters out of locally found materials
  • Creating reusable feminine hygiene kits
  • Creating homemade bug repellant out of local herbs
